Savery Hydraulics has many years experience in the design, manufacture, installation, flushing and commissioning of complex state of the art ring main systems. Hydraulic ring mains have been supplied to both the Aerospace and Automotive industries. The largest Ring Main System to date has an installed power of 1,575KW and supplies a total flow of 2,520 lit/min at a pressure of 315 bar. This flow is fed through two Hangers with over 3,500 meters of 4” pipework. The pipework feeds fluid to sixteen Aircraft Interface Units Aircraft located in the two Hangers with connections from these to the Aircraft’s Systems by flexible hoses. The interface parameters with the Aircraft are controlled by an electronic/computer system that allows programmable pre-set levels to be loaded and then accurately maintained by PID control loops.
