Once a pipework installation has been completed it needs to be thoroughly cleaned prior to equipment being connected to it.

This is achieved by flushing to the cleanliness standard required by the system, and Savery have a suite of electrical and diesel powered Flushing Rigs, that have been purpose designed for this function. Checking of the fluid cleanliness is by an automatic particle counter that gives a report on the contaminant level class.

Prior to flushing the pipework would be proof pressure tested to an agreed margin of safety.

Method statements and Risk Assessments are completed for all work of this nature followed by the production of the appropriate certification.
